But I think I'll try, because I'm not sure how many of you xangaians are connected to the blogs that I've been updating more often. 

Not that you need to. 

But knowing we're connected would make me feel warm and fuzzy.

our leadership retreat held about a month and a half ago

it was a little over two years ago that I took off most of my hair because the Minnesota Twins baseball team couldn't win their final game of the season. Thank you Justin Kang for remembering our agreement. 

At the beginning of this year's professional basketball season, I was so convinced that another Minnesota team, the Timberwolves, would surprise all of their critics and rivals, that I was sure that they would win 30 games. So sure, in fact, that I told someone I'd grow my hair back out and then some if they won 29 games or less. 

They have won 11 with less than half the season remaining. 

I will send you pictures once my hair reaches its full, luscious potential.
